Mission Statement

The mission of the Summer Camp Amelia Island – Premier Hands-on Allied Dental Learning Center is to elevate allied dental education and clinical practice through immersive evidence-based training. Set against the rejuvenating backdrop of Amelia Island, we empower dental assisting and dental hygiene educators as well as practicing clinicians, to master high-level technical skills. Through intensive hands-on workshops in periodontal instrumentation, administration of local anesthesia, and dental radiology, we bridge the gap between classroom teaching and clinical mastery. By integrating advanced teaching methodologies with dedicated training on CODA accreditation standards, we inspire educational leadership and cultivate clinical excellence in a collaborative coastal learning environment.

Hands-on Workshops for Practicing Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists

We also provide separate classes for practicing dental assistants in their radiology and chairside skills. For dental hygienists, we provide workshops to hone their skills in hands-on instrumentation, local anesthesia administration and radiology laboratory experience.

What is so special about our “Boutique Boot Camp? It is a “in-person” to recharge educators personally and foster collaboration. The small classes provide an experience that feels exclusive due to increased personal attention, interactions, exchange and genuine support. Sharing information and concerns in the class remains private and all within the class sign an agreement to keep the discussions private. What gets said in the classroom stays in the classroom. It is a safe space where confidentiality encourages attendees to express personal concerns or to seek advice or in turn to give advice and share ideas with genuine concern for other attendees. These discussions prioritize trust and vulnerability over being “right”. No recordings, and no part of the class is in cyberspace.
