03. Dental Assisting Accreditation Workshop (8 ceu’s ) All-inclusive interactive full day workshop.   

Monday. July 21, 2025  8:00 AM – 5:15 PM (Lunch on your own 12:00 – 1:15 PM)

Course Instructor: Christine Dominick, CDA, RDH, M. Oc.; John W. Preece, DDS

This year we have a complete accreditation document and exhibits on the course flash drive. The morning session is designed to assist dental assisting educators with the accreditation process, and it provides detailed instructions on demonstrating compliance with accreditation Standards 1 through 2. An emphasis is placed on the sections of standards that are most frequently cited. This course includes electronic documents that are placed on flash drives for each attendee. The first set of exhibits contains an outcomes assessment matrix, outcomes assessment tools, presentations of program. Information on the curriculum, including the Curriculum Management Plan and all aspects of these standards are addressed in this course. Electronic exhibits provide supportive documentation for the clinical education portions of Standard 2. The afternoon session provides detailed instructions on demonstrating compliance with accreditation Standards 3 through 6. The electronic documents on the flash drive for Standard 6 include a Radiation Safety Plan, Exposure Control Plan, Medical Emergency Plan, and Quality Assurance Plan. Complete self-study documents will be available at the end of the day for your review. The Do’s and Don’ts of the site visit will be clearly explained to the attendees. This course does not provide participants with entire self-study electronic documents or guarantee one’s success at preparing a self-study document or a recommendation free report from their visiting site team.

All attendees must provide their personal email address when they register so we can confirm and send camp information to them. School emails block our list serv. So PLEASE send attendee’s personal email.

Our Policy:

Requests for cancellations must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the camp date (July 7, 2025).  However, for cancellations received after this deadline, if the cancellation is made prior to the class start date and time, 75% of the tuition may be applied toward future camps. Tuitions for no-shows will be forfeited NO EXCEPTIONS.

DH Methods of Education, Inc. is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets and any other travel expenses due to missed flights (delays, cancellations weather related or otherwise) or if the course is cancelled. Course flash drives will ONLY be given out to those who attend the courses. Those who miss class for any reason will not be given the course flash drive.

A word about our course flash drives and materials.

We do not sell the course flash drives and/or materials separately. They are only received after completing the “How to Teach” subject specific course. This is our policy since ownership of the course flash drive and materials copyright agreement and course certification are proof to CODA that the recipient did indeed attend the methodology classroom session. Having the materials alone could be misconstrued as meeting Standard 3-7 since CODA usually recognizes our course materials and associates them with the face to face instruction that demonstrates compliance with the standard. The materials belong to the college or university that pays the tuition, not the attendee.
