If you are registering for any course at the March 1-4, 2012 Amelia Island Camp or if your school has purchased TalEval, there are 2 sessions held at the camp that you may attend free of charge:
Thursday, March 1, 1-5PM Question & Answer Session on TalEval Computerized Grading. This is a non-structured training session to meet the needs of those who are using TalEval. Laptops are recommended. (no ceu's are awarded from this training session) Content covered is dependent on the needs of the attendees.
Friday, March 2, 3-5PM "Student Evaluation Course" (2 ceu's) This two hour course is a component of the all day "Allied Dental Educator's Teaching Methodology Workshop". Methods of evaluating students are discussed and the computerized grading system TalEval is presented by America's Software CEO, Connie Harper. A wine & cheese party will be provided for all camp attendees at the end of this session.

About Cindy Biron Leiseca, President of DH Methods of Education, Inc.
Cindy Biron Leiseca was Professor & Chair of the Tallahassee Community College Dental Health Programs from 1993 - 2009. In addition to her administrative duties as chairperson, she has taught clinical dental hygiene, dental hygiene theory, medical emergencies and allied health pharmacology. She has taught continuing education courses throughout the United States and Europe for private practitioners and dental educators. Mrs. Leiseca has over twenty five years of sound, hands on experience in private practice, emergency medicine and dental professions education. She received an A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene from New Hampshire Technical Institute, a B.A. degree in Medical Technology and Human Biology from Notre Dame College in NH, a certification as an Emergency Medical Technician from the University of Texas Health Science Center, and an M.A. in Adult Higher Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has taught at several community colleges in the nation and at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is now an adjunct faculty member at Tallahassee Community College. Mrs. Leiseca is a contributing author to the textbooks, “Fundamentals of Periodontal Instrumentation”, by Jill S. Nield-Gehrig, “Clinical Practice of the Dental Hygienist" by Esther Wilkins, and is co-author of “Dental Office Medical Emergencies” with Meiller, Wynn, and Crossley. Mrs. Leiseca has served as a columnist and consulting editor for RDH Magazine since 1992.
She has produced three instructional DVD's "Precision in Periodontal Instrumentation", "Precision in Periodontal Instrumentation 2nd edition", and "A Focus on Fulcrums".
More recently Mrs. Leiseca has become well known for her computerized grading system for dental assisting and dental hygiene, "TalEval". She has also had great success with her "Summer, Fall & Winter Camps" on teaching methodology and periodontal instrumentation offered at Tallahassee CC, Nova Southeastern U., Salt Lake CC, Harrisburg Area CC, Miami Lakes, Orlando, The University of Tennessee at Memphis, Community College of Southern Nevada (Winter Camp - Las Vegas 2007), Summer Camp 2007 Mesa Community College, AZ.
